Batgirl Set Photos Showcase J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon
Gordon looks a little younger compared to his Justice League version. Like his daughter Barbara, the detective sports red hair and even a red mustache in the scene.
What's really interesting is the presence of two actors besides Simmons. Fans speculate they could be playing a younger Barbara and her mother, giving weight to the claim that this is in fact a flashback scene.
The DC adaptation has been filming for several weeks now. Similar details have spilled from the set, including references to Lex Luthor and even Robin.
In The Heights' Leslie Grace takes the cowl this time around. The first official picture of the actress in costume was released a few weeks ago and is very faithful to the comic book's version.
Casting news is still coming out, as Ivory Aquino was recently added as Barbara's best friend. Michael Keaton is also set to reprise his role as Batman in the HBO Max film.
