Pocketpair has updated Palworld to version v0.2.0.6, which introduced a host of changes, including the game’s first raid boss, Bellanoir, and how to summon her. This patch is available only for Steam, but an Xbox patch is coming soon as well.
Pocketpair has promised a slew of new features that will significantly transform the sleeper hit monster game Palworld, which sold 8 million units in January.
One of these mechanics has launched in a new patch, v0.2.0.6, which brings the first raid boss named Bellanoir along with a host of other changes to the game.
Speaking on X, Pocketpair explained how to summon raid boss Pals, a new type of Pal to which Bellanoir is a part. They can be summoned using special slabs placed at the Summoning Altar.
Bellanoir and the summoning process were previously teased in a video, in which a Pal tamer is seen offering a slab to the Altar. This offering released a rain of fire, out of which Bellanoir emerged.
The latest post explained more about raid boss Pals, which can only be summoned but cannot be tamed or captured. When defeated, however, they can drop Pal Eggs.
Bellanoir, and presumably other future raid bosses, also have an extreme version with a higher difficulty.
Of course, this is only the beginning, as Pocketpair promised more updates in the summer of this year. These would include new buildings, weapons, tower bosses, and an island.
