I find myself spending way too long cycling through different skins, hats and pets in Among Us.
The default ones can start to get a bit boring after a while.
Being such a huge game right now, there are already many fans making mods for the game.
Well, now you can get and make your own custom content for your character in Among Us.

How to Get Custom Skins
Head to a site called GameBanana, which hosts a load of mods for a wide range of games.
There you have to download a program called Unity Assets Bundle Extractor (UABE) and whichever skins you want to use.
Follow the steps below to install them:
- Open Unity Assets Bundle Extractor.
- Select File then Load Package File and pick a .emip file. You can get these files by downloading Among Us custom skins, hats, and pets.
- You'll be prompted to select a Type Database, go to the bottom and pick the most recent option.
- Check all three boxes, these being Affected Bundles, Affected Asset Files, and directory.
- Click Select at the bottom of the window and go to the Among Us_Data folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Among Us\Among Us_Data).
- Click OK.
- Select File then Save and export the modified sharedassets0.assets file. You won't be able to save and replace your existing sharedasset0.assets file while running the program, so save the new file to a different location, for now, that is easy to find.
- Close UABE, then copy and paste your modified sharedassets0.assets file into the Among Us_Data folder. If it prompts you to overwrite an old file, do so.
- Load up your game and you should be able to see the custom skins!
