Animal Crossing New Horizons is here, and the humble Nook's Cranny store can be upgraded significantly over the course of your time on the island.
The main point of commerce in your fledgeling settlement, Nook's Cranny is where you can buy and sell items. Here's how to make the most of it.

How to Upgrade Nook's Cranny in Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Once you've built the shop, it begins as a small wooden building with a limited inventory. To upgrade, you'll need to hit two milestones:
- You'll need to have played for 29 days – you can find the number of days you've logged in on the "Active Island Resident" Nook Miles achievement.
- You'll need to have handed Blathers 30 fish, bugs, and fossils to the museum (that's 90 items total).
Once you've done that, you'll be made aware that the shop is being closed for remodelling, meaning you won't be able to buy or sell there for a day.
The upgraded Nook's Cranny offers much more in terms of available items, as well as an extra "hot item" each day.
