Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for the often-delayed Digimon Survive, which supposedly launches this year. While that teaser trailer doesn’t offer a lot of new info, we do get an introduction to some of the upcoming game’s cast and a brief glimpse into how battles work.
While all of these human characters are original to Survive, long-time fans will be happy to see series favourites like Agumon and Lopmon. Gameplay-wise, there's a unique blend of visual novel-style cutscenes and strategy RPG combat, similar to Fire Emblem or Final Fantasy Tactics.

Digimon Survive Gets a New Teaser Trailer
Digimon Survive isn’t the only adaptation in development, as Digimon Con 2022 previously confirmed another Digimon game is being produced. Reportedly, this new installment ditches the Cybersleuth setting to focus more on the Digital World and 12 Olympians that players will face off.
Currently, Digimon Survive only has a vague 2022 release window, but it'll be launching across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. In the meantime, Digimon Story Cybersleuth: Complete Edition is now available on PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
