Respawn Entertainment has announced that Apex Legends Mobile will be available in select countries next week. A full global launch doesn't have a release date yet, so this is likely being done to test out the game first.
In the official blog post, Respawn stated that 10 countries would be chosen to test out Apex Legends Mobile on both iOS and Android. However, as this mobile version's "being built specifically for mobile," it won't support crossplay with PC and console players.
Apex Legends Mobile Coming to 10 Countries Before Global Launch
Initially, it'll launch across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Mexico, Peru, Argentina, and Colombia, available through Google Play and the Apple App Store. As for playable legends, Mobile includes Bloodhound, Gibraltar, Lifeline, Wraith, Bangalore, Octane, Mirage, Pathfinder, and Caustic.
Fans in the United States and Europe will have to wait longer before playing Apex Legends Mobile, and Repsawn promise further updates on a wider launch soon. In the meantime, you can still download the original Apex Legends on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch and, hopefully soon, Xbox Series X|S and PS5.
