The L-Star EMG is a rather unique gun in the Apex Legends Universe. The Light Machine Gun is the only one of the four available in-game. It uses energy ammo and it is the only one that has an unlimited magazine size. This means that this weapon, even at its basic level, is brilliant for engaging in close-range battles.
The weapon has been downgraded a few times since its introduction into the game, but it is still one of the most powerful energy weapons across all categories. There are multiple attachments that are compatible with this weapon, each one increasing its power and handling a significant amount.
On this page, we're going to show you the damage stats, attachments, and skins for the L-Star. All of the information we have provided should help you decide if this is the weapon for you.

Review
As we noted above, the key thing to consider when using the L-Star is how much ammo you have. Energy ammo isn’t necessarily rare to find on any map, but it's still worth collecting as much as you can. The weapon can fire 720 rounds per minute, so the more ammunition you have the better off you will be in the long run. It has its pros and cons, but ultimately, the L-Star is a good choice to have in your arsenal if you prefer close-range combat.
