Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has made $1 billion USD in revenue for Ubisoft, the company’s first game to accomplish this feat. Confirming this news during a conference call, part of this may come down to Valhalla's large updates.
So far, Valhalla's already seen a significant post-launch content push, and it marked the first Assassin’s Creed on new-gen consoles. Valhalla's also getting the Dawn of Ragnarok expansion on March 10, letting players control Odin in a campaign that'll supposedly last 35 hours.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Hits One Billion Dollars in Revenue
Reports recently emerged that a planned Assassin’s Creed Valhalla expansion could be repurposed into a standalone game, filling a gap in Ubisoft's release schedule. Many have speculated this game, codenamed Rift, could be the last standalone Assassin’s Creed game before Assassin’s Creed Infinity, which is expected to contain live-service elements.
