Batman: Arkham Shadow, developed by Camouflaj, is the first full-fledged Batman VR game within the Arkham series. While the Arkhamverse already had a VR entry in Batman: Arkham VR, Arkham Shadow aims to fully immerse fans of both Batman and the Arkham series in newer ways than what Batman: Arkham VR was able to do. Players can punch, glide, use tools, and do insane melee combos like the Caped Crusader in Batman: Arkham Shadow, complete with new VR combat mechanics and traversal.

Batman: Arkham Shadows will be available on Meta Quest and Meta Quest 3 on October 22. Fans who have purchased these VR devices will also receive a copy and can play through the streets of Gotham on launch day. While Batman: Arkham Shadows is played in VR, it'll have almost the same game length as Batman: Arkham Asylum and will be comparable to the length of Iron Man VR.

How Long to Beat Batman: Arkham Shadow

In an interview with Android Central, developer Camouflaj mentioned that Batman: Arkham Shadow will be as long as Arkham Asylum, which is roughly 11 hours. With Arkham Shadow's 52 achievements, it'll take more time to finish Arkham Shadow. Iron Man VR, another VR game made by Camouflaj, is around 7 and a half hours long for its main campaign which places Batman: Arkham Shadow in a pretty sweet spot for a VR game.

Combat in Arkham Shadow will require players to perform punches, hooks, and uppercuts which can be physically exhausting. The level design of Arkham Shadow will give players enough breaks in between combat sequences to make sure that the game isn't too tiring.

Aside from combat, players will also spend more time completing different achievements such as collecting Rat King Idols. These idols are scattered throughout the game and can be time-consuming. Some Arkham fans aren't too fond of the Riddler Challenges in Arkham Knight and many of them hope that collecting Rat King Idols won't be too much of a work compared to the Riddler Challenges.

Batman: Arkham Shadow is out on October 22 so be sure that you have enough prep time and check everything you need to know about Batman: Arkham Shadow by following and subscribing to Gfinity Esports.
