Activision has confirmed that Warzone will remain on the Modern Warfare engine amid rumours that the battle royale would be transitioning to the Black Ops Cold War engine.
Black Ops Cold War's Warzone will be supported on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and PC.
According to recent rumours, there will be no changes to the current Warzone map until late Q1 or early Q2 of 2021.
Everything you've earnt in Warzone will be preserved and retained as Warzone evolves.
However, some items will naturally be removed to suit the narrative of Warzone.
The Black Ops Cold War's Warzone mode will remain free-to-play.
