Bloodborne, FromSoft's action RPG, could be coming to PlayStation 5 with a full remaster according to a leaked listing from French retailer Fnac.

The page has since been updated to remove it, but given the constant rumblings of a Bloodborne Remaster, there's every chance we could be returning to Yharnam in the coming console generation.

There's every chance that this has been caused by some confusion, with the PlayStation Plus Collection letting PS5 owners play the PS4 classic as part of the library included.

That said, the previous speculation had suggested that renowned remake studio, Bluepoint Games, had been working on the project - although with that team launching Demon's Souls Remake on PS5 this November, that could be unlikely.

Still, Bloodborne arguably doesn't need anywhere near that kind of remake.

The game only launched in 2015 and is widely regarded as one of the best games of the current console generation.

There are certain areas that could benefit from the added power of next-gen hardware, though. For one, the game's load times can often feel glacial in speed, but we'd imagine downloading the original via the PlayStation Plus collection could help that.

Then there are the framerate drops, which also seem like they could be ironed out by the new hardware.

It's also worth noting that despite being compatible with the console's "Boost Mode", Bloodborne didn't receive a patch to take advantage of the PlayStation 4 Pro's hardware advantages.

Rumours continue to suggest that the game could also move to PC, as has occurred with the likes of Horizon: Zero Dawn and Death Stranding in recent months.
