Believe it or not, MMORPGs are still fairly popular with gamers today, as titles like Final Fantasy XIV and World of Warcraft continue to get big updates and a number of fans, so it’s easy to see why fans would get excited about something like Blue Protocol, which has some of the best anime visuals we’ve seen in a game and looks like a pretty fun time.
One reason why fans are interested in the game is the fact that Bandai Namco has yet to announce a release date, with interested gamers salivating over some of the screenshots and trailers online, with many hoping that the game will eventually come to the West since it looks great and could be a worthy rival to something like Genshin Impact, which also has good anime visuals.

Blue Protocol - What you need to know
From the information that’s been gathered, Blue Protocol seems like your typical MMORPG, which isn’t a bad thing.
You can choose your character class, customize your characters, and team up with your friends to kill tougher bosses, which are the typical trademarks of games in this genre.
Is Blue Protocol Coming To The West?
Right now, a Blue Protocol Western release date has yet to be announced because the game isn’t even out in Japan yet, though a few beta tests have happened.
The MMORPG is expected to come out in Japan in late 2021 so it will probably take a while before the game comes out in the West.
The team behind the game has confirmed they are still preparing for a 'global launch'. Officially, Bandai Namco state they have no plans for a western release at the moment. That being said, they've also stated that the decision is "subject to change”.
Given that Bandai Namco has previously posted a job listing for an English language localization manager for Blue Protocol, it would suggest it'll eventually see a release date for western audiences.
Unlike Genshin Impact, which seems to focus on the single-player experience, this is focused on multiplayer with friends and we’re interested in seeing how this game will do, should it eventually come to the West.
Blue Protocol will be coming to Japan sometime in late 2021.
