First slated for a June 12 release, the Call of Duty Black Ops 6 and Warzone Rivals Event was pushed back. It also saw the cold, glamorous, and chaotic ballet of the Ballerina event extended from its original end date by a week.

We know you didn't need extra time to do Johny and Eve proud by killing as many men as possible to get the rewards. So, here's when you can go killing again for more rewards in Black Ops 6 and Warzone.

The Black Ops 6 & Warzone Rivals Event will begin on June 19, 2025, and will run until July 1, 2025. That means you get two weeks to collect rewards that include a new Scorestreak and attachment.

In the first announcement blog for Season 4, Activision said that Rivals will start on June 12, right as the Ballerina event ends. However, with Season 4 having a longer runtime than regular seasons, events may have been extended to keep up with the added weeks.

We do not have any official word on whether this will be a new schedule going forward for Seasons or if this is just a one-off extension.

How to Play Rivals Event in Black Ops 6 and Warzone

Similar to all Call of Duty Black Ops 6 events in the past, all you have to do for Rivals is play matches across any mode, rack up kills, earn XP, and collect rewards.

As you gain XP, you'll earn rewards as we've listed above.

Past Rivals, the other two scheduled events for Black Ops 6 are King of the Dead and Master of Grief. They're zombie-themed, and you earn points by killing them. The more unique undead you blast, the better the points you get.

The points will help you place on the Zombies leaderboard, and based on your position, you'll get rewards. Of course, a higher position means better rewards.

King of the Dead was originally scheduled from June 26 to July 3, and Master of Grief from July 10 to July 17. Given the recent delay, though, we do not know whether these will go as planned or whether we will see different dates for them, too.

Rivals itself will be ending on July 1. We're almost midway through the season, so we should hear soon from the devs in the Season 4 Reloaded briefing.
