Best M4A1 Warzone Loadout

The M4A1 has never strayed far away from the very top of the Warzone metagame. This assault rifle may not be the best assault rifle to use, but it is an incredibly reliable and versatile weapon to fall back on if other weapons aren't cutting it on the streets of Verdansk and Rebirth Island.

As Season 2 Reloaded of the battle royale gets underway, many players may fall back on this particular AR thanks to its incredible versatility. The M4A1 may have fallen out of favour with players, but it's still a solid AR to be using. Even with regular weapon balancing from Raven Software, the rifle is struggling to work its way back into the meta but with the best M4A1 attachments equipped, it can still shred through any opposition.

What Is The Best M4A1 Warzone Loadout?

As one of the staples of Warzone, we've had plenty of time to find a combination of attachments that allows the M4A1 to dominate despite falling out of favour with many players. Find the best attachments to use in the table below.

Attachment Name

BarrelStock M16 Grenadier

UnderbarrelCommando Foregrip
Magazine60 Round Mags

As with most Warzone assault rifle loadouts, this particular build increases damage range in order to improve long-distance performance. In addition, the choice of underbarrel attachment improves recoil levels to ensure high levels of accuracy are maintained.

Best M4A1 Warzone Attachments

  • Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
  • Barrel: Stock M16 Grenadier
  • Optic: VLK 3.0x
  • Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
  • Ammunition: 60 Round Mags

With improvements to damage and range statistics, the M4A1 is extremely easy to use on Caldera and Rebirth Island. Despite mobility levels taking a hit, this build is easily the very best for this particular AR thanks to laser-like accuracy and a fire rate few ARs can match.

Overall, the M4A1 doesn't appear within the Warzone meta like it once did but it's still a viable option as part of a loadout.

Best M4A1 Warzone Perks and Equipment

Once the best combination of attachments is ready to go, taking a look at Perk selection and choosing the deadliest pieces of Equipment is equally as important when it comes to building the best Warzone loadout. Here are the best Perks and Equipment to use alongside the M4A1.

Grenades

  • Frag Grenade (Lethal)
  • Stun Grenade (Tactical)

Grenade selection is always personal preference but we have gone for a Frag/Stun combination. Cook the Frag Grenade to perfection for the chance to deal some additional damage. The Stun Grenade is the perfect tool for slowing the movement of a potential target, allowing you to finish the job with the M4A1.

Perks

  • EOD (Perk 1)
  • Overkill (Perk 2)
  • Amped (Perk 3)

EOD increases your resistance to explosives, perfect when under fire from a grenade and even an airstrike while tracker allows you to see enemy footsteps for a small period of time, giving you a rough idea of where they might be hiding.

Overkill enables you to equip two primary weapons in the same loadout, further improving versatility, while Amped increases weapon swap speed, giving you the ability to switch between the M4A1 and the R9-0 as fast as possible.

Is the M4A1 Good in Warzone?

Having used the M4A1 in Warzone for several months, it's still one of my favourite weapons to use despite the regular changes to weapon performance. The fast rate of fire shreds through armour with ease while the low levels of recoil make it very easy to stay locked onto a target even from a long distance. If you want something a little different from the current meta, I would strongly recommend using the M4A1.
