Changes to Warzone are nothing new. Raven Software is often tweaking various elements of the game to ensure a somewhat balanced playing field for players dropping into Caldera and Rebirth Island.
With Season 2 Reloaded right around the corner, the developer will follow through on a poll asking players whether the number of health points (HP) should receive an increase from 100 to 150.
The poll showed most players want a health increase, resulting in a longer time to kill without having to apply significant changes to the current metagame.
Warzone Pacific Health Increase
Reported by Charlie Intel, Raven Software confirmed the change on March 21, two days before the mid-season update is set to go live. The change is good news for players that often share their frustrations about Vanguard weapons dominating matches due to their overpowered nature.
For those familiar with the Vanguard Royale mode, a change to 150 HP in standard Battle Royale modes won't feel new at all. Since the arrival of the Vanguard-focused mode, 150 HP is the standard amount of health for players.
Will the Warzone Meta Change?
With an extra 50 HP to consider, it's highly likely the change in Warzone health will spark a change in the current metagame. The likes of the Bren and Cooper Carbine from Vanguard have dominated in recent weeks and with a slower time to kill, there's every chance a new gun could emerge as the frontrunner.
