Warzone Pacific Cash Nerf
In a Tweet posted on January 11th, the developer revealed that there's an "overabundance of Cash" on the Pacific island of Caldera, enabling players to acquire tens of thousands of dollars over the course of a match, giving them easy access to game-changing Killstreaks and the coveted Loadout Drop.
The change left several members of the community wondering why such a change is even necessary, especially with players being unable to purchase a Loadout Drop until the second circle. With players needing more Cash to gain any kind of early-game advantage, is there a need for a Cash nerf to take place?
OpTic Gaming Warzone streamer Tyler "TeeP" Polchow responded to the idea of a Cash nerf with the suggestion of the Loadout Drop being available as soon as the game gets underway.
Will Warzone Cash Get Nerfed?
With several high-profile players and content creators seemingly against a nerf to Warzone's Cash, it will be interesting to see whether Raven Software turns its attention to more pressing matters such as improving how the game performs on consoles. As the saying goes, if it ain't broke, don't fix it!
