Castlevania celebrates 35 years soon and Konami's decided to mark the occasion by announcing a new set of Castlevania NFTs. Revealing this would be a part of the company’s Konami Memorial NFT service, there's 14 new Castlevania NFTs that fans can purchase.
As seen on Mynewsdesk, this marks Konami’s first foray into NFTs and blockchain technology, promising to explore more developments as they come while listening to fan feedback. These NFTs are based on the first three Castlevania games, Game Boy Advance title Castlevania: Circle of the Moon, and a mix of in-game scenes, music, and box art.

Konami Announce Castlevania NFTs for 35th Anniversary Celebrations, Predictable Criticism Follows
For the unaware, NFTs have been heavily criticised over environmental impact and fraud concerns. While S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2's developers recently backtracked on their plans, there's been significant backlash against Ubisoft, Dead by Daylight and more for using them. Predictably, Castlevania fans aren't happy here.
It’s unclear if there's further plans to celebrate 35 years of Castlevania, though the company did release the critically-acclaimed Castlevania Advance Collection last year. That included the aforementioned Circle of the Moon, Harmony of Dissonance, and Aria of Sorrow, alongside Dracula X for the SNES.
Konami also released the Castlevania Anniversary Collection back in 2019, featuring a number of games from the NES, SNES, and Game Boy library. We'll keep you informed with further developments as they happen.
