Path of Exile 2 has impressively reached over one million Early Access redemptions earlier today, December 6.
Posted on X, the game's official X account announced that this massive feat is something that they did not expect and stated that there may be long queues as players spend their weekend in the world of Wraeclast.
Grinding Gear Games' technical director Jonathan Rogers shared what players can expect from the overwhelming number of redemptions. It's honestly amazing how game studios such as Grinding Gear Games communicate in transparency about a game that has just entered early access.

Players in the game's subreddit and X appreciate this communication, but some of them are understandably excited to spend their weekend doing quests in Path of Exile 2.
While the upcoming queues are dauntingly long for a weekend gaming session, players just used humor to express their excitement and nervousness about the early access. Even Path of Exile took on humor to express how challenging the first day of early access was.
Path of Exile features a new skill system featuring 240 new active skill gems in addition to the twelve classes on launch. However, players will only be limited to playing six classes during early access.
Players will get to enjoy the six acts of Path of Exile 2's storyline before they can proceed to the game's endgame content, featuring more than 100 endgame maps.
