Safemoon, a cryptocurrency token launched in March 2021, has soared to become one of the most popular new cryptocurrencies of 2021, but is it available on Binance?
Built with three core layers for conducting secure transactions, Safemoon's rapid popularity has been gaining momentum since its launch. With increased user interest, it is among the most-watched cryptocurrencies on CoinMarketCap.
However, despite its popularity, buying Safemoon through a cryptocurrency exchange isn't so simple.
Is Safemoon listed on Binance?
Binance does not currently support Safemoon trading, even with the mountain of Safemoon posts asking the exchange to list it. However, this method may hurt Safemoon's chances.
With the upgrade to Safemoon V2, the cryptocurrency states it will be "easier to list Safemoon on exchanges", with some Safemoon holders hoping this will lead to a Safemoon listing on Binance.
Meanwhile, this November tweet from Binance attracted Safemoon holders who thought it could be a hint at an upcoming Safemoon listing.
After its launch in April, Safemoon has gained over 2 million holders, and is now listed on 15 exchanges. However, this isn't seen as enough for many.
Much like the Shiba Inu Robinhood petition or the Floki Inu Binance petition, SafeMoon enthusiasts have launched petitions on Change.org.
The most popular Safemoon petition, which has 3,584 signatures, states:
It is time to contribute our grain of sand with one goal, to have a Safemoon on Binance, one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in the world.
Once it is in Binance, we can say that even a small step for the currency will be a great step for humanity.
We'll be keeping our eye on Binance's new cryptocurrency listings, and will keep this updated when any information comes out.
