Crypto exchange Poloniex has listed the Shiba Inu token BONE on their exchange.
The listing comes before the launch of the Shibarium L2 network which should be on its way this week.
Poloniex’s listing follows Crypto.com, Gate.io and CoinEx.
Another crypto exchange has listed BONE ShibaSwap
After Gate.io and Crypto.com, Poloniex has listed Shiba Inu’s BONE token on their exchange. The listing began on March 9 and comes days before the scheduled launch of Shibairum, Shiba Inu’s new L2 network built on Ethereum.
BONE will be an important utility token on Shibarium, helping to support the network. Due to BONE’s low circulating supply and utility, the Shiba Inu holders believe demand for the token could rise in the future.
Many have called for leading crypto exchange Binance to list the token. Many believe that a Binance listing will depend on how well the BONE token will perform once the Shibarium beta is released. Speculators believe Binance isn't going to list the coin if interest outside of the Shiba Inu ecosystem is limited.
The Shibarium L2 network will serve as a fully robust blockchain network where users can trade cryptocurrencies, bridge tokens to other networks, create NFTs, use decentralised applications and connect to other traders.
Alongside the Shibarium L2 beta launch, the Shiba Inu team will be at SXSW to present gameplay of SHIB: The Metaverse followed by an informative panel on metaverses.
