The Shiba Inu team have released new details about SHIB: The Metaverse.

The team earlier unveiled a black and white sketch of Growth Dunes; however, the Shiba Inu team recently took to Twitter to unveil an additional colour sketch of the Growth Dunes concept art.

SHIB: The Metaverse's Tech Trench, an environment inspired by universities from around the world was also revealed.

On November 15, the Shiba Inu team finally released new colour concept art for Growth Dunes.

The newly colourized sketch portrays "scenic growth dunes" and an oasis in a desert setting.

A day later on November 16, the team revealed Tech Trench via ShibaSwap. The Tech Trench metaverse hub is inspired by modern technology and university campuses from around the world with interesting designs.

SHIB: The Metaverse was first announced in January 2021. Since then, the project has been in development for about a year and a half.

Alongside being an explorational metaverse game, the project aims to deliver passive income to players by allowing them to earn passive income via Shiba Inu Lands.

The Shiba Inu team is also working towards launching Shibarium, a layer-two blockchain network built on top of Ethereum that will play an instrumental role in burning Shiba Inu's SHIB token.

Recently, prominent cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com revealed new information about its reserves. According to data from Nansen, Crypto.com holds 20% of its reserves in Shiba Inu.
