Crytek's confirmed that Crysis 4 has entered development, nearly nine years after Crysis 3's launch. Releasing a short teaser trailer, that follows the launch of the Crysis Remastered Trilogy, though we've yet to see any real gameplay for this fourth entry.
Speaking in a press release, Crytek CEO Avni Yerli confirmed:
It’s something you have been asking us for a long time, so it’s now finally time to confirm – yes, the next Crysis game is happening! We are so pleased and excited to bring this news to you, and we really can’t wait to reveal more details about what lies ahead.

Crytek Officially Announces Crysis 4 Is In Development
Confirming it's in "the early stages of development," we won’t get any concrete details anytime soon. There's no confirmation of which platforms it'll arrive on either, though by calling it a "truly next-gen shooter," we'd anticipate it'll be on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
No release window has been given yet by Crytek, though we'll keep you updated once we learn more. In the meantime, players can find Crysis Remastered Trilogy - containing Crysis, Crysis 2, and Crysis 3 - out now on PS4, PS5 Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
