Cyberpunk 2077 finally saw Update 1.5 launch this week, bringing the open-world game to new-gen consoles and arguably giving fans the best version so far. However, it didn’t launch problem-free.
CD Projekt Red is currently investigating new PS4 and PC issues in Cyberpunk 2077, which turned up after 1.5's release. Fans have reported that on PS4, they can’t launch the disc version of Cyberpunk 2077. Meanwhile, the PC version has been prone to crashing errors.
Cyberpunk 2077 1.5 Update Causing PS4 and PC Issues
On the CD Projekt Red forums, the PS4 and PC issues of Cyberpunk 2077 1.5 were acknowledged by the team. Believing audio issues are the main reason for Cyberpunk 2077 crashing on PC, they advised fans to disable audio drivers like Volute, Nahimic, or Sonic Studio. No cause or temporary solution was given for PS4 players at the time of writing.
Cyberpunk 2077 is available now on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC, and console players can upgrade to the new-gen editions for free. We'll keep you informed as we hear further details.
