Cyberpunk 2077 has seen a renewed surge these last two weeks. Finally arriving on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, that brought about an update to Perk Trees, cosmetic changes, and plenty more. Now, CD Projekt Red has released a hotfix on PC.
So, what does it do? According to CD Projekt Red, not that much, but it's a welcome change. As stated on the official website, CDPR offered this brief summary:
A hotfix for Cyberpunk 2077 is out on PC. It addresses audio software-related crashes on game launch.

This hotifx rectifies issues brought about in Cyberpunk 2077's recent Patch 1.5, which CD Projekt Red acknowledged two weeks back. Initially advising fans to disable audio drivers like Volute, Nahimic, or Sonic Studio as a temporary solution, we're now waiting for CDPR to resolve several further issues on PS4.
Beyond the PC edition, Cyberpunk 2077 is available now on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Google Stadia. Console players can upgrade to the recent new-gen editions for free. We'll keep you informed as we hear further details.
