Best Phone Under 500 - iPhone SE (2020)
Brand: Apple | Operating System: IOS 14 | Screen Size: 4.7 inches | Resolution: 750 x 1334 pixels | CPU: A13 Bionic chip | RAM: 3GB | Storage: 64GB / 128GB / 256GB | Battery: 1,821mAh
The iPhone SE is a strong contender for one of the best phones under 500 we've come across for a number of reasons.
First off, while it may 'look' like an iPhone 8, it features much newer technology, including the A13 bionic chip (which features in the iPhone 11 Pro), an improved camera, and even compatibility with the upcoming version of iOS.
The battery may not tip the scales as much as some of the best phones for battery life, but with wireless and fast charging, topping up should be a breeze.
Other standout features include the signature HD retina display, water resistance, and fantastic 12MP and 7MP cameras.
We think the iPhone SE hits the mark in more ways than one, and makes for a worthy consideration for a more affordable alternative to some of the best iPhones around.
