Deathloop's Release Date May Have Been Revealed By The PlayStation Store

While we knew that the game had been pushed to Q2 of 2021, this is the closest we've come to an actual date.

With this date coming from the New Zealand PlayStation Store, and not appearing to be a placeholder, it looks as though this could be on the money.

Thanks to the listing, we also know what's included in both the Deluxe edition of the game, which costs $149.95 (don't panic, that's NZ Dollars).

  • Transtar Trencher Weapon
  • Eat The Rich Tribunal Weapon
  • 44 Karat Fourpounder Weapon
  • “Party Crasher” Colt Skin
  • “Sharp Shooter” Julianna Skin
  • Two Trinkets
  • Original Game Soundtrack Selections

The pre-order content is as follows:

  • PS5 Exclusive Unique Weapon: Royal Protector Machete
  • Character Skin: “Storm Rider” Colt
  • One Trinket

The game looks great, with a really unique sense of style and tone, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't itching for Dishonored 3.

Still, naming a pre-order weapon after Royal Protector (and protagonist of the first Dishonored), Corvo Attano, shows that Arkane hasn't forgotten the series.
