Devil May Cry 6 Release Date

While Capcom is yet to address the existence of a sixth game, longtime leaker Dusk Golem has revealed that the game is in development.

They noted that fans should "get ready to wait for several years", meaning it's likely only in the early stages of being worked on.

Considering Capcom is already working on the likes of Resident Evil: Village, that's perhaps unsurprising.

Platforms

In better news, Devil May Cry fans can look forward to a PS5 version of DMC5 coming digitally at launch.

There's no word on an Xbox Series S/X version, though, suggesting that there's a possibility a sixth game could be a PS5 exclusive.

Of course, that's all speculation at this point, but we wouldn't be surprised to see it skip the Switch.

While the original trilogy came to Nintendo's console, it likely doesn't have the horsepower to run DMC5, let alone DMC6.
