Diablo Immortal Necromancer Build - Best Skills for Leveling
Skill |
---|
Soulfire |
Command Skeletons |
Corpse Explosion |
Grim Scythe |
Bone Spikes (Swap for Wraith Form when able) |
Using some of the very first skills you unlock, the Necromancer is at its best when switching up their playstyle.
Their shambling familiars grant them constant passive damage, and Soulfire can be used to do high damage to bigger bosses and a little to surrounding creatures as well. Once you've taken down an enemy, hitting them with Corpse Explosion deals huge area damage to whatever remains, which can really chip away at rare creatures in a pack of smaller minions.
Bone Spikes and Grim Scythe work towards the same end, dealing huge damage to groups of enemies before using their exploding corpses to get even more damage in. Command Skeletons allows you to regularly do damage to a group, but its passive is even better, allowing you to summon more skeletons every few seconds.
When you reach level 15, you should add Wraith Form to your build, swapping out Bone Spikes due to its cooldown time and more limited use. Wraith Form will make you marginally less offensive but grants you a speed boost and invulnerability for when you get in trouble. Battles may take a little longer but you will survive for much longer.
Diablo Immortal Crusader - Best Battle Pass Legendary
With the battle pass system comes a little bit of choice about where your class will go. It is a great way to get a nice legendary item but your choice may be a little hard to make.
For this, we recommend picking up the Baleful Trinity. It gives you one extra bounce for your primary attack, a particularly good skill to have in a crowd.
Diablo Immortal Crusader Build - Best Stats for Gear and Gems
Weapon Stats | Gear Stats | Gem Stats |
---|---|---|
Damage, Intelligence, Vitality | Intelligence, Vitality | Resistance (Topaz),Armor Pen (Sapphire), Damage (Tourmaline) |
Although the Necromancer benefits from varied moves, the stats they benefit most from seem to be Intelligence and Vitality. Intelligence allows you to get higher damage for your skills and more mana to use them, where vitality obviously keeps you alive and blowing up ghoulies.

As the Necromancer seems to gain quite a lot from being directly in the middle of the battlefield, you want to make sure they're safe to do so with plenty of Vitality to back them up. Wraith Form can only keep you alive for so long.
When looking for new gear upgrades and weapons to equip, you want to look for these two stats as a priority. On weapons, raw damage comes first, but you still want those secondary stats on there.
Best Legendary Gems for Crusader in Diablo Immortal
Legendary Gem Priority |

Everlasting Torment |
Fervant Fang |
Chained Death |
As you will likely spot if you play multiple classes, Diablo Immortal has a handful of gems that work well with almost every class. Everlasting Torment pairs excellently with the Necromancer, allowing them to get the most out of their AOE abilities.
Fervent Fang is also great, allowing you to deal damage to high priority targets. If you're taking on a boss, this is a great addition. Finally, it is worth checking out Chained Death, really pumping up your AOE numbers.
Diablo Immortal Necromancer Build - PvP
Part | Equipment |
---|---|
Head | Visitant's Sign |
Shoulder | Linger-Mantle |
Chest | Covet Nothing |
Legs | Graven Bulwark |
Main Hand | Desolatoria |
Off Hand | Baleful Trinity |
The Necromancer is at its best when using crowd control techniques. You should try and summon as many friendly creatures as possible to distract the enemy and take them down when they're not looking. From here, you can play a semi-support role to keep them alive and kicking. Your equipment should work towards this goal.
This isn't where your loadout should end though. Get creative with what you wear and work on a truly unique build.
Diablo Immortal Necromancer Build - Paragon Traits
Paragon Page | Skills |
---|---|
Vanquisher | Damage, Zeal |
As this is only focusing on the build-up to end-game, you should focus on sinking points into Damage, followed by Zeal. As Necromancer can be a great class for AOE damage, you want to do whatever you can to get those numbers even higher. Zeal allows some synergy with each kill and works together well with a handful of their abilities.
Corpse Explosion allows you to chain kills so you can stack Zeal very quickly. After this, you are finally ready to hit the end-game. As is the case with all Diablo games, this is a very different experience that will take a long time to master but you should be ready to take it in.
And that should be everything you need to know for the best Diablo Immortal Necromancer build for launch.
