Dragon Ball Sparking Zero is finally here. With surprisingly good reviews, it's a game even non-Dragon Ball fans won't want to miss out on. If you love the world of Akira Toriyama, know that Bandai has plenty of DLC in store with the Dragon Ball Sparking Zero Season Pass.

But is it worth the investment? Let's dive into the details and explore the benefits it offers.

One of the biggest draws of the Dragon Ball Sparking Zero Season Pass is the inclusion of three DLC packs. As per the Bandai Namco blog, these packs will introduce over 20 new playable characters.

Expect a mixture of iconic heroes and villains from recent installments - Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero and the upcoming Dragon Ball Daima series.

Another major perk of purchasing the Season Pass is the opportunity to access the DLC packs three days before the general release. Those who owned season passes had already got to play the game from the 8th of October, 3 days before the game's official release. The same can be expected in future DLC releases.

Lastly, the advantage is in the form of summoning Shenron. If you don't happen to know Shenron, he is a mystical dragon who is capable of granting wishes. Here, wishes will be in the form of in-game currency or goodies.

Normally it requires Eight Dragon Balls to summon him, Season Pass users can do so without needing to collect the full set of Dragon Balls.

Is It Worth to Spend on Dragon Ball Sparking Zero's Pass?

As we already know the Dragon Ball Sparking Zero already provides 182 playable characters which is a huge roster without a doubt. Let's say, if someone has decided to get his hands-on on all these playable characters it will still be a long way road.

So, how come it is a selling point to present the addition of 20 more DLC characters as a Season Pass benefit? More or less, the fate of this question will somehow depend on the characters themselves which will gradually be revealed over time.

Nonetheless, summoning Shenron still sounds exciting and offers a significant time-saving benefit.

If you identify yourself as a casual type of gamer or are not particularly interested in the aspect of witnessing Dragon Ball Super or Dragon Daima, waiting for a full character list does not sound bad.
