How Long Does It Take to Beat?
How long it will take to beat the game will depend on how you choose to play it. The quickest way to complete the game is to focus on doing only the Main Story missions. The slowest way to complete it is to focus on doing everything on offer, and we mean everything.
Main Story
If you choose to completely focus all of your efforts on completing the main story missions and only those missions, you can complete them in roughly 20 hours. This is without exploring the rest of the world outside the missions.
Doing All Side Quests, Learning About the City, and Meeting People
Choosing to do all of the side quests and taking your time to learn about The City will significantly extend your gameplay. If you choose to do all of this and interact with other NPCs in the game, it can take around 80 hours (or more) to complete.
Completing Everything
Buckle up, if you want to complete absolutely everything in Dying Light 2 it can take around 500 hours! It will take you that astonishing amount of time to complete if you choose to 100% the game. That means exploring every inch of The City, talking to everyone, doing all of the missions, and finding every collectible.
