Snoop Dogg made his name in hip hop, but he's been a known figure in gaming for sometime. From appearing alongside Terry Crews during EA's 2016 Battlefield 1 stream, Twitch streaming, and plenty more, he's now announced that he'll be joining Faze Clan as "Faze Snoop."
Speaking about this move, Faze Clan chief strategy officer Kai Henry said:
"The organic relationship between Faze and Snoop has been building for years now, so we are thrilled to officially welcome Faze Snoop to the family. As the original internet kid and first generation gamer, Snoop has always understood the cultural connection between music, lifestyle and gaming."

So, what brought Faze into Snoop's view? Quite simply, his kids, telling us "The youth identifies with their brand and that's something my son Cordell knew, which is why he brought us together."
Elaborating further, Cordell Broadus released his own statement, confirming:
"As I've been watching what FaZe Clan has been building in the gaming space, I knew there was a natural connection with what my dad has been doing. When I look at the two brands, I was inspired by the synergy they could create so I brought them together in this partnership. I can't wait for the world to see what we are about to do."
It's not the only time we've recently seen Faze Clan in the news. Back in October 2021, the group announced they'd be going public through a SPAC deal, raising the Clan's value to an estimated $1 billion. We'll keep you informed with further news when it happens.
