Not long after the news that Everwild had some sort of reboot this year, Xbox Game Studios and developer Rare added a new designer who will help bring the game to life: Alien: Isolation lead designer Gary Napper.
Napper revealed his new venture on to Twitter. He mentioned how he looks "forward to making some amazing things" by working with the studio and building on his experience in designing games, primarily 2014's Alien: Isolation.

VGC stated that Everwild has gone through some changes, referring to the game as something that was ‘completely rebooted’ due to the creative director's decision to leave the project. Xbox Games Studio executive Matt Booty shared last month that the team behind Everwild would want to do "something special" about the game before showing it off once again to the public, so perhaps Napper will help make that happen sooner rather than later.
Everwild will be releasing for the Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Make sure to follow us for more gaming news and updates as it happens.
