Why Is Evil Dead Not Working on Xbox?
Some, but not all, of Evil Dead owners on Xbox are expressing difficulties actually getting into the game. Despite having purchased and pre-loaded the title, when they try and select the game it simply won't boot up.
It won't come as a surprise to anyone that this is a particularly frustrating error. Especially since players on other platforms don't seem to be encountering this issue, it's an oddly Xbox-specific problem. How Do I Fix Evil Dead Not Working on Xbox?
Simply put, there isn't currently a fix for the Evil Dead not working on Xbox issue. The good news is that Saber Interactive are aware of the problem and already have a solution incoming, but it's going to take time.
This locking out of some Xbox players was supposedly caused by "a systems error," as per Saber Support. The fix isn't immediate, but it should be solved within the next few hours. They say affected players will be able to access Evil Dead at 8 AM PT/11 AM ET/4 PM BST.
Therefore, while you can't go and immediately remedy the issue, it's not too long to wait until it's solved. Within just a few hours, you'll be able to dive into Evil Dead as initially planned. Maybe play a little Dead by Daylight chapter 24 if you just need a thriller fix before things get back to normal.
