Well, it is finally Friday, people. It's time to kick back with some good old gaming. Ignore the housework, crack open a cold one, and dig into that backlog!
We have had a fantastic month of games with incredible work from the team putting together guides for each to help you along the way.
From classic remakes to brand-new horror survival, November has seen it all. But maybe you are like me and have a backlog that goes back entire console generations, and you need to clear the list.
Here are links to guides for some of this month's hottest titles:
I also reached out across the GDM network to get the lowdown on what everyone is playing this weekend! Hopefully, these suggestions will help you decide what to play.
Enjoy!

I am digging back into Dragon Quest XI. After picking up the remake of DQ 3, I felt I should try to finish this one first. It's an amazing game—very old-school, but perfect to play in parts before bedtime. I am around 20/30 hours in, and I know I have a loooong way to go.
Besides that, I want to try and put a bit more time in to Batman: Arkham Shadow on my Quest 3. This is a pure Arkham experience despite being a VR title. I just find it hard to find the time to play on the headset. It's highly recommended, though.
Lastly, I have the Monster Hunter bug again after the Monster Hunter: Wilds Beta and have been playing Monster Hunter NOW on my mobile. Yes, it's a Pokemon GO reskin, and yes, I play sitting on the couch, but something is comforting and rewarding about shooting those monsters to get myself some better gear.
That's about it from me this week; let's see what the rest of the team is digging into this weekend.

How do you do, fellow kids? After watching Kris' footage of Monster Hunter Wilds, I'm convinced that I still have the knack for swinging my Insect Glaive in Monster Hunter Rise, so I'll spend a considerable chunk of my weekend gaming time munching dango and hunting monster parts.
I like my weekend mornings to be easy and evenings to be relaxing, but if I ever feel a competitive gaming itch during the weekend, I'll boot up Dota 2 and sacrifice a few brain cells. However, if I end up with another 10-game losing streak this Sunday night, I might not be setting myself up with the best start to the week. Give me back my MMR, Gaben!

It is Friday, my good friends! With the Nintendo Switch 2 finally coming next year (hopefully), I’ve decided to play the Switch exclusives I haven’t beaten yet. Oddly enough, the simple gameplay and visuals of Pokemon Sword have captured my attention.
Although I much prefer the gameplay and story of the Scarlet/Violet games, there’s an undeniable charm to a more simple, linear Pokemon game. It might not take any risks in the gameplay department, but there’s something oddly satisfying about the Galar region.

With Rainbow Six Siege's Operation Collision Point just around the corner, it's time to try the game's upcoming features in the Test Server. Using Blackbeard's shield should be a mix of fun (while using it) and frustration (while playing against it), so I am not sure if I will be able to keep my "just a chill guy" status for too long.
I'm also considering playing VALORANT and trying out the new features in Patch 9.10, including Phoenix's Buff, the new Regen Shield, and the cardboard bundle. Shooting with a cardbox weapon sounds... interesting.
Oh, and if I've got the time, I will give Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's Ranked Play a chance!

Even though I played it earlier this week, I plan to continue the comp grind in Overwatch 2 this weekend as well. I am stuck in Gold 3 at the moment, but I still have hopes to reach Plat, although that's probably not happening soon.
I might jump into quick play here and there since the test weekend for the new hero, Hazard, is also happening, but my main objective is to rank up and at least get back to Gold 2

I will immerse myself in Night City and continue my adventure in Cyberpunk 2077. While Cyberpunk has been out for quite a while, I have only picked up the game recently, and since then, I have been hooked on it. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl has just been released, and it’s a game I will dip my toes into this weekend.
I love post-apocalyptic games. I’m a big fan of the Fallout and Metro franchises, so I almost feel obligated to try out S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. The game has received mixed reactions, with many players complaining about bugs.
I’m looking forward to trying it out and seeing if the negative reactions are exaggerated or if the game has performance issues. But above all, I want to explore the lovely city of Chornobyl and become immersed in a post-apocalyptic scenario.

It’s Friday again, which means gaming weekend is here! I’ll be playing Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 right after logging out from work as I need to grind up my Bulwark and Tactical Space Marines. I need them to look as badass as possible with those Astartes armor sets!
Since my wife is going off to her weekend job, I plan to continue my journey in Cyberpunk 2077 and try to advance the storyline in Phantom Liberty! I’ve been playing this for 40 hours and simply can't stop.
