Final Fantasy 7 is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, and Square Enix are hinting at further projects. Teased by creative director Tetsuya Nomura and producer Yoshinori Kitase, it’s unclear what these projects are, but expect announcements in the near future.
On the official Final Fantasy VII Twitter (thanks Siliconera), Kitase and Nomura thanked fans for their support while promising more projects set in this game’s world. Nomura’s message teased further Final Fantasy 7 projects, which can be read below:
“And there will be even more new FFVII projects that started up after the remake coming in (the) future too. The team sees this 25th anniversary as a waypoint on our journey with FFVII and will continue pressing ahead to even greater things, so please keep supporting us going forward!”
