Moustachioed streamer Dr Disrespect’s ‘Hot Shot Duo Drop’ event has its winners in the form of two Fortnite specialists.

The May 27 2v2 elimination racing clash saw a litany of big names in the streaming game take part, but no one could match up to the duo of Tfue and Zemie on the day, with the pair only losing one game on their dominant run to the grand prize.

Several of the biggest names in the tournament’s lineup exited early, with both Ninja, alongside partner TimTheTatman, falling in round one of the winners' bracket, while Dr Disrespect and partner DWolf bowed out just a single round later.

The tournament’s grand finals came down to a matchup pitting Tfue and Zemie against the pair of Typical Gamer and Ranger, the latter of whom put up a valiant fight, but eventually succumbed to defeat.

The win sees them walk away with $40k, while Typical Gamer and Ranger bagged $25k as runners up and third place duo Maddynf and Upshall took home $13k.

Replying to Tfue’s Twitter post about the victory, Dr Disrespect said: “You really are a blonde banged hotshot aren’t you?”, prompting Tfue to respond: “If you say so”.

A few other competitors, including TimTheTatman and Typical Gamer also issued their congratulations in the Tweet’s replies.
