Fortnite has a huge and thriving store and battle pass system. Needless to say, there are plenty of reasons to spend those precious V-Bucks. If you're looking into how to refund in Fortnite, though, this is what you should know.

As you might expect, the system has a few checks and balances to stop any exploits or fraud. This will also take you through some of those and how the system works. Be sure to take a careful look at the rules before you go through with a refund, as you don't want to miss out on the outcome you're looking for.

How Does Refunding Work in Fortnite?

Before you refund any of your items, there are a few things you should probably know. First, only items can be refunded and they will only give you V-Bucks. There is no way to refund real money for any of your purchases. This means that, if you buy V-Bucks by accident, you may have to reach out to their support team directly. There is no way to guarantee a refund here.

After you've decided which of your items you want to refund, you should know that you only get three refund tokens every year. This means you can refund three items a year. After that, there's nothing you can do. This is implemented so that players aren't refunding all of their purchases when they really shouldn't have bought them in the first place.

Finally, you can only refund items that have been purchased in the last 30 days, to avoid players asking to refund things they simply aren't using anymore.

In here should be the option to "Submit a Request." Click on what you want to refund and give your reason. Then, click "Submit Return Request." You don't need to give a complex reason. A simple misclick is a good enough reason to get a refund.

After that, you may have to wait a little while, but if you've entered everything correctly, you should see the V-Bucks returned to your account. If you have any problems, the best thing to do would be to reach out to Epic directly.
