When it comes to how to play Framed, it works a lot like any other Wordle-era guessing game.

How do I play the Framed game?

Like the other word games out there this year, the Framed game site is all you need to play this one. Just head there on your phone, tablet, PC, or just about any device with a web browser.

From there, if you’ve played Wordle, you probably know what comes next – and you’d be mostly right. You have the usual six chances to guess, but you get a new clue after each wrong guess. Typically, these clues are recognizable shots from the film.

The right/wrong binary is a bit simpler in Framed. Here's a breakdown of what each colour means when the tiles change:

  • Red - The film is wrong
  • Green - You got it right!

That’s pretty much it. There’s no in-between with Framed - you’re either right or you’re wrong.

So far, Framed doesn’t have a colourblind mode or, indeed, any options to improve image quality or brightness. You may need to adjust your screen settings

Can I play past Framed games?

Nope, once a puzzle has expired, that’s it. Framed has no feature to let you play past puzzles or potter around in free play mode like Octordle does. That may change, but for now, you’ll have to wait until the clock strikes midnight (EST) again for your next word fix.

That's our latest Framed answer guide. You might want to check back tomorrow for the next batch of solutions. Check out Hogwartle word of the day if you want other games like this. Fans of geography might want to check out Worldle country guide.
