The prestige skins of Apex Legends are some of the most coveted items on offer to players of Respawn Entertainment’s battle royale. Similar to Heirlooms, they appear on a regular basis through collection events that take place over the course of a season.

With Season 17 in full swing, those dropping into the action have recently claimed that a popular Mixtape mode is poorly designed while fans of ranked play are asking the developer to remove a map in order to stop campers from exploiting a crafty hiding place.

Throughout Apex Legends history, prestige skins for Bangalore, Wraith, and Bloodhound have appeared and thanks to a recent leak, another Legend is seemingly in line to receive a fancy outfit.

Apex Legends Valkyrie Prestige skin leaked

According to notable Apex Legends leaker ThordanSmash, Valkyrie is the next Legend that will receive a prestige skin, as part of an upcoming collection event.

ThordanSmash claims the skin looks similar to characters that appear in the Gundam series, which ties in with the Valkyrie's existing aesthetic. At the time of writing, there are no images of the leaked skin available, so take the leaks with a pinch of salt until official information appears.

Valkyrie receiving a Prestige skin is an interesting decision, especially when the Legend already has an heirloom, while others don’t have any high-tier cosmetics. On the plus side, players will seemingly have the ability to equip Valkyrie’s heirloom and prestige skin simultaneously, to create the most rare look possible.
