There was a rush of adrenaline amongst DC fans when Batman: Arkham Knight briefly added Robert Pattinson’s The Batman costume in the game. Unfortunately, it was a very brief period, as Warner Bros. has since removed the costume, confirming that this suit was released early.

Fans who had access to the suit, like Arkham Videos, confirmed on Twitter that the suit has since been removed. At the time of writing, Warner Bros. has yet to acknowledge the existence of this suit, likely due to embargos and other plans made.

When it was revealed that Arkham Knight would have Pattinson’s suit from The Batman, many assumed that this was supposed to be released with the Switch version. Since the Arkham Collection is coming to Switch this December, it’s likely that is when Pattinson’s costume will be released everywhere else.

It seems that the Arkham Collection’s Switch release is the perfect opportunity to bring all the DLC to every platform. At the time of writing, PlayStation consoles still have exclusive access to Batman ‘66 and Justice League 3000, after eight whole years. Rocksteady and Warner Bros. did say that these suits wouldn’t be exclusive forever, but eight years is an incredibly lengthy wait.

Many are curious to see how the collection plays on Switch, with Arkham Knight in particular having everyone’s interest. There’s no doubt that Arkham Asylum and Arkham City will run decently on Switch, they’re PS3 and Xbox 360 games after all, but Arkham Knight is a 7th gen powerhouse. Despite being released in 2015, it’s still an incredible-looking game today, even if the city you explore is empty, due to storyline purposes.

No matter how the Switch version runs, the important thing is that everyone gets Pattinson’s suit from The Batman. It looks absolutely marvelous and we wish the suit was patched in now since it looks amazing. Unfortunately, all we can do is wait until something concrete comes our way.
