Now that it’s finally emerged from early access, Baldur’s Gate 3 has already surpassed a lot of expectations, having attracted a huge amount of players keen to scythe through its quests and battles.

Streamers have already shown off some of the fun the full version of the game has to offer, even if some players think it still needs a couple of minor additions to help complete the experience it offers.

Meanwhile, the game’s modding scene is already producing plenty of interesting tweaks and enhancements for it, including the option to play as an ex-goat, with one modder having focused on helping players to unlock the true potential of the character they’ve created.

Do you feel like your Baldur’s Gate 3 character needs a bit of a boost?

The modder in question is Mharius, and some of their Baldur’s Gate 3 projects to this point have accomplished things like making it much easier to hoard loot.

Among these works is a series they’ve gradually been releasing over the past few days, which claims to unleash the true potential of each of the game’s races, from humans to elves and even Dragonborn.

Each of the numerous variants of each mod grants the race it affects access to additional abilities and buffs. For example, with one variant of ‘Half-Orc Unleashed’, that race can choose to be granted the Lucky passive feature, which is usually reserved solely for Halflings.

Halflings, meanwhile, can be granted the ability to carry just as much gear as humans by a version of their mod, ‘Halfling Unleashed - Lady Frodina the Bane of Hobbits’, or somehow become even more rapid in terms of movement speed.

The other benefits the mods can offer the races they affect include boosts to the amount of health gained per level, extra proficiencies, and other useful features like superior darkvision.
