Since it finally emerged from early access, Baldur’s Gate 3 has surpassed a lot of expectations, having attracted a huge amount of players keen to embark on the journey to its highest levels.

Despite some now-resolved issues with its latest hotfix, the general verdict on the game has been extremely positive, and its modding scene is already in full swing.

While some players have been busy trying out bizarre speedruns and interesting challenges in a bid to add some extra spice to their BG3 adventures, others have been busy checking out all of the content found so far that didn’t quite make it into the release version of the game.

Is there anything in the list of cut content unearthed so far that you desperately want to return to Baldur’s Gate 3?

Warning: Spoilers for Baldur’s Gate 3 may lie ahead.

Over on the Baldur’s Gate 3 subreddit, user Vasgorath has helpfully put together a full list of cut content that’s been confirmed so far, either via the discoveries of dataminers or thanks to comments from the game’s developers.

Among their 32 bullet point-long list are everything from explorable areas like The Upper City to parts of the storylines of characters like Karlach and Minthara.

The post also details a few missing cutscenes such as epilogues, which Vasgorath claims were alluded to by Larian’s comments about the game having 17,000 ending variations, and some less glamorous details, such as the game having an unused item slot for belts.

Naturally, all of these details about things that players seemingly might have gotten as part of the base game have left many openly wishing for Larian to add as much of it back into the game as possible via future updates or a definitive edition.

In one post, which has amassed 1.9k upvotes as of writing, user ajm53092 emphasised how key they feel adding back in the cut content could be to helping the game deliver an even more impressive experience, before asking their fellow players:

What can we do as a community to make that happen, to make Larian see that this is worth doing, both to make the game the fully realised version of what it should be, and also a financial success?

While many have responded by declaring their confidence in Larian’s attitude towards providing post-release content and updates, others have encouraged players to keep bringing the content up on social media in the hopes that the studio sees there’s an appetite for it.
