The excitement surrounding Bethesda’s upcoming Indiana Jones game is still at an all-time high, even though Dial of Destiny didn’t set the world on fire. With rumours of the game possibly coming out this year, new leaks may have finally revealed the game’s official title.
According to leaker Kurakasis, Lucasfilm registered several domains for Indiana Jones and The Great Circle, including for good and video games. Various websites using the same name have also been registered, indicating that this could be the game’s final title moving forward unless a last-minute change is made.
We’ll have to wait for Bethesda and Xbox to confirm if the game is going to be called Indiana Jones and The Great Circle or something else entirely. But considering how Lucasfilm has already gone out of its way to register all of these names, there’s very little doubt that the game will be called anything else. Then again, Disney and LucasFilm could always have plans for Indy that we’re not privy to.
Details on this game are still pretty slim, though we do know that it’s going to be an Xbox exclusive foreseeable future. Although Microsoft is more likely to bring their properties to other systems, a licensed property is guaranteed to sell so this will probably stay exclusive for a bit longer.
Microsoft getting in on licensed exclusives is a good thing since it has worked out a ton for Sony, as Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has shown. PlayStation was also able to nab Marvel’s Wolverine as a PlayStation exclusive, which means a future X-Men title could also be exclusive to Sony. At the least, Xbox was able to nab an exclusive Blade game from Arkane, which should ensure some quality.

Don’t get us wrong, we think it's great that Xbox is willing to part with exclusives like Hi-Fi Rush, but fans do need a reason to buy an Xbox Series console. Indiana Jones might not sound like a system seller but the game could change everyone’s minds.
