Fans always knew that Bowser liked pretty girls but a new Super Mario Bros. Wonder ad shows he also likes them thick and chunky. The new ad shows that Bowser might like Princess Peach the way she is now, but he absolutely loves Peach in her new, thicc elephant form.

In this hilarious new ad, Bowser approaches Princess Peach with a single flower in his hand. Once she randomly uses the elephant power-up in front of King Koopa, Bowser seems to be shocked. However, he then replaces the single flower with an entire bouquet, because our Koopa King is based.

Jokes about Bowser liking his girls thick and chunky aside, this is actually a pretty wholesome ad that makes the longtime enemy even more likable. The fact that he likes Peach even more as an elephant woman is adorable, if somewhat self-aware, as certain artists like 'art' with these animal-like forms.

The focus on this elephant power-up in Super Mario Bros. Wonder has been hilarious, especially since players can still ride Yoshi in this form (not like THAT you monsters). It’s one of many new mechanics in the Switch exclusive, as the game also has optional power-ups via the badge system and a unique dark souls-like online mode.

Funnily enough, this isn’t the only time a Mario game was laser-focused on hyping up an animal power-up. Super Mario 3D World focused heavily on the cat outfit, even releasing amiibo of Cat Mario and Cat Peach. We also wouldn’t be surprised if those cat outfits led to 'art' for these characters if you catch our drift.

More commercials for Super Mario Bros. Wonder have been making their way to the public, including these shorts. Prior to the Bowser and Peach one, we also saw Mario try out his jumping in elephant form before failing to go through a pipe. Expect more shorts with Toad, Daisy, and Luigi until the game’s release.
