It’s that time of the month again. The Call of Duty complaints department is open for business! Season One Reloaded for Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 is well underway, and instead of Krampus making an unwanted arrival, Klaus has joined the Operator roster to spread his brand of festive cheer.

Aside from the new content and Infinity Ward’s best efforts to address Warzone 2’s weapon balance and its numerous bugs and glitches, the community continues to share what’s grinding their gears when dropping into the action.

But, before we see the gripes of players from recent weeks, don’t forget to take a look at our guides highlighting the current Warzone 2 meta and all you need to know about Modern Warfare 2 Season Two.

5. The Heavy Chopper is gone

On December 16, players decided they’d had enough of late-game scenarios featuring a squad flying around the final circles in a heavily armoured helicopter that’s incredibly difficult to destroy.

Thankfully, Infinity Ward was listening and removed the Heavy Chopper a few hours later while it investigates ways to rebalance the vehicle before it returns to Al Mazrah as part of a future update.

4. Floating Warzone 2 AI

In at four is the strange appearance of Warzone 2 AI combatants in the skies above Al Mazrah. Rather than landing at designated Strongholds or Black Sites, soldiers were, and still are, hovering high above the map.

You may think they’re not able to deal damage while walking in the air, but if you choose to shoot them while free-falling, they will open fire and could send you on an early trip to the gulag.

3. The return of classic guns

Instead of a complaint taking the third spot on our list, this particular topic generated plenty of conversation and debate within the community. The Call of Duty franchise loves taking players on a trip down memory lane, and many want Infinity Ward to add some classic firearms into the Modern Warfare 2 arsenal.

Ranging from the G36C and Barrett. 50 Cal from Call of Duty 4 to the iconic ACR from Modern Warfare 3, the demand for weapons from previous titles to appear in MW2 is high. We’ll have to wait and see what the developer has in store in future updates to see if any suggestions make the cut.

2. Festive CoD Operators

As it’s the festive season, we put our heads together to think of some legendary Christmas movie characters that would make excellent Call of Duty Operators. Black Ops Cold War saw the arrival of Die Hard’s John McClane, so who else would make a solid addition to the current selection of Operators?

Ranging from Buddy the Elf to Turbo Man, our selection wouldn’t look out of place in a Christmas parade or hurtling around Shipment with a riot shield on their back.

1. The worst CoD update ever?

Taking the top spot in December’s Call of Duty complaints department comes courtesy of the Season One Reloaded update. Despite the update containing plenty of new content and numerous bug fixes across Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, some believe the mid-season update is the worst in the history of the Call of Duty franchise.

Players claim there are still plenty of game-breaking problems affecting players and, until they’re fixed, some won’t be dropping into the action anytime soon.
