With Hideo Kojima teasing new details about Death Stranding 2, fans can't get enough of the revolutionizing genre that Kojima made, now that Conan O'Brien is confirmed to return in Death Stranding 2.

In a YouTube video uploaded by Team Coco, Conan is seen playing a director's cut version of Death Stranding with Aaron Bleyaert in their content called Clueless Gamer.

As the title suggests, Conan plays the game without any clue of what’s in store—in this case, Death Stranding Director's Cut. The video showed a bit of the process where Conan was scanned by Hideo Kojima for the first game.

Death Stranding has divided gamers since its launch back in 2019. While it has a story that took its time to slowly unfold, Death Stranding also has an interesting gameplay where you basically play as a parcel guy for a post-apocalyptic United States.

From delivering boxes to transporting actual corpses, players will have to traverse rough terrain and monstrous weather to progress through the game. Conan is seen trying to deliver the corpse of the protagonist Sam Bridges' mom.

The duo proceeds to tilt sideways as Conan hilariously tries to stop stumbling - a game mechanic that happens when you try to haul heavy things on your back. "This is why they use a wheelbarrow", he quipped.

Stumbling while having a corpse on your back is weirdly funny in Death Stranding, especially when Conan is playing.

Conan also encountered his in-game self, saying that Death Stranding made him needy and unfunny. "It's accurate, I didn't want accurate", Conan added.

At the end of the video, Conan is seen playing a video clip of Kojima inviting him again to appear in the second game, confirming his character's return.

Sam Bridges returns in the second game, along with several fan-favorite characters. Death Stranding won the PC Game of The Year award during the 2020 Golden Joysticks Awards, setting up the benchmark and expectations for the upcoming game.
