Cyberpunk 2077 - Mod gives The Afterlife’s interior decor a makeover

While a lot of Cyberpunk 2077 players are already imagining how sweet life will be when the Phantom Liberty Expansion arrives and they can ditch their old mate Keanu Reeves for a fresh celebrity friend in Idris Elba, some are still chilling in Night City while they wait.

Many of these chooms are busy living the bombastic life of a street racer or futuristic fashion model, both of which require buying a lot of new clothes and installing tons of colourful cyberware in order to maintain your street cred.

But alot of them are also fond of hitting up The Afterlife for a drink or two. A new mod, which aims to turn the club into your favourite hangout via the addition of some subtle details, might be worth adding to your order from Claire.

Sick of Cyberpunk 2077’s most infamous night spot feeling a little bit bare?

The mod in question is called ‘Enhanced Afterlife’ and is the work of modder Pringels001. Their previous work consists of some preset characters designed for those who fancy playing Cyberpunk as either a serious corporate boss or someone who looks a bit less wizened.

This time, they’ve decided to get out the furniture dioramas and fabric swatches required to spruce up the interior of The Afterlife, helping to turn the bar into somewhere comfortable where you can relax.

The mod achieves this by adding a number of extra props, such as potted plants and high seat backs, to areas of the club where people congregate. It just generally makes spots like Rogue’s corner near the bar feel a lot more cosy and lived-in.

It also adds some extra walls, which cut off the main areas of the dive from the less glamorous furnished corridors that act as its staff-only sections. The mod even helps turn one of its nooks into a designated armoury.

If these changes sound like they’re worth pestering Rogue into making, you’ll first want to grab awpsoleet’s ‘Cyber Engine Tweaks’, MaximiliumM and CtrlAltDaz’s ‘Appearance Menu Mod’, as well as some of the online shop mods that use Jesusrofls’ ‘Virtual Atelier’ as a base. This means you can have the armoury be actually functional.
