PS5 owners, get hyped. Days Gone Remastered is finally coming to PS5 on April 25, 2025.
The new edition of this highly regarded open-world action game brings something new to the table for both loyal fans and newcomers. Bend Studio and Climax Studios have teamed up for this remaster, bringing better visuals, added content, and new features to enrich the experience. Without a doubt, the biggest update in Days Gone Remastered is the PS5's enhanced graphical power.
The lighting, shadows, and increased draw distance for foliage will all work together to create a more authentic and engaging experience for players. The Pacific Northwest is looking sharper than ever, with creepy creatures and hostile survivors everywhere. Thanks to VRR, the PS5 gives you smoother gameplay, whether you're into the sharp Quality mode or prefer the fluid framerate of Performance mode.

- Horde Assault Mode: This mode has players facing bigger Freaker swarms and more hostile humans as they try to survive.
- Permadeath Mode: Only the most fearless players will take on the Permadeath mode in the Days Gone Remastered edition, where dying means starting over.
- Speedrun Mode: Speedrunners will have a blast with the new Speedrun mode. The goal is to complete the game as fast as possible in this mode, and the leaderboards let you see where your time ranks against others.
For those who already own the original Days Gone on PS4, there's an affordable upgrade option. You can get the remastered version on PS5 for just $10. If you're new to the game, the Days Gone Remastered edition will be available for $49.99.
Days Gone will be launching alongside the Broken Road DLC on PC, giving players new content to enjoy.
