Dead by Daylight has partnered with Tokyo Ghoul for one of its most intense crossovers to date.
Ken Kaneki has finally stepped out of the shadows and into the Fog after months of cryptic in-game teasers and fan theories. But this isn't the same Kaneki fans might recall from Anteiku.
This version is more brutal, fiercer, and completely overtaken by the violent instincts that used to frighten him.
As The Ghoul in-game, Kaneki hunts Survivors with Tokyo Ghoul powers, using tentacle vaults and rapid map control. Speed and aggression define Kaneki's Killer form.
His signature move, Kagune Leap, lets him launch tentacles to pull him toward surfaces and Survivors. As he leaps from one to the next, he becomes harder to track.
Land the second leap on a Survivor, and you'll hit them with Deep Wounds and a Kagune Mark, unlocking Enraged Mode. Once enraged, The Ghoul can chain three consecutive leaps with faster vaults and brutal momentum.
When Survivors attempt to stall, his three perks ensure they can't get away with it. Kaneki's base appearance shows the extent of his fall.
Titled The Ghoul Within, this outfit's all about his time under Jason's brutal torture when the kind-hearted student finally gave in to the monster inside.
If you're curious about Kaneki's origins, unlock the Rize Kamishiro Legendary Outfit. This version swaps out Kaneki entirely for the Binge Eater herself, complete with her own animations, sounds, and visual effects.
A tribute to the woman behind it all—and the complex path Kaneki now follows. You can also find Tokyo Ghoul-themed masks for characters like Jonah Vasquez, Jake Park, and David King.
They might not be full outfits, but Survivors can still represent the crossover however they like.
Dead by Daylight has collaborated with big names before, but Tokyo Ghoul is its first venture into anime.
The way his power mirrors his mental descent—and the devastating tools at his disposal—make him one of the most thematic and mechanically sharp additions in recent memory.
