While they may not have got the massive DLC announcement they wanted out of The Game Awards, Elden Ring players have still had new content to dig into, with the long-awaited Colosseum DLC providing a fresh challenge for those who’re sick of spending their time thinking about being a giant crab.
However, for the most hardened of warriors, this battle arena clearly isn’t proving difficult enough, with the world of streaming, infamous for producing the likes of drawing pad and one-handed runs through the game’s bosses, already having featured the likes of dance pad Colosseum sessions.
The streamer behind that bout of boogie battling is MissMikkaa, who has spent the past few weeks progressing through one of the most interesting Elden Ring playthroughs of all time and has finally succeeded in her quest to beat the game on two different platforms simultaneously.
What kind of bizarre Elden Ring playthrough do you think could top this one?
While the streamer struggled a little at the start of the run, spending multiple streams being tormented by minor mistakes, she soon managed to get the hang of handling a dance pad (connected to a PC) and PS5 controller at the same time, scything her way through a multitude of bosses including Starscourge Radahn.
Having finally bested the infamous Malenia following multiple streams worth of Waterfowl-based frustration, MissMikkaa kicked off her final stream of the run with just a few foes left on the kill list, the latter two of which being the Radagon/Elden Beast duo that serves as the game’s finale.
Making quick work of a Death Rite Bird, which she described as a “nice little warm-up”, the streamer was soon blade-to-hammer with Radagon of the Golden Order, who only took her a couple of attempts to best.
The Elden Beast battle which immediately followed proved a bit more challenging, especially given that every death at its hands meant another dice with Radagon.
Thankfully, following a couple of tense hours spent grinding away at the battle, littered with attempts which came just short of victory, shown below, MissMikkaa finally achieved her goal of completing the run.
While celebrating her win, the streamer was greeted by a raid, which only added to the slew of congratulatory donations and comments from her usual audience.
Since concluding this run, MissMikkaa’s been playing The Witcher 3’s Blood and Wine DLC on death march difficulty, though she certainly seems open to trying more interesting Elden Ring challenges in the future.
